Aba is the southeast’s manufacturing and trading city, home to the Ariaria market.

The Abuja–Aba corridor is the trade route's northern arm: the same Ariaria supply chain that runs west to Lagos also runs north to the capital.

Aba is a trading city, and the Lagos–Aba corridor moves traders as much as it moves travellers.
